The RF 24mm F1.4L VCM is the ideal Canon lens for landscapes, architecture, interiors, video as well as immersive storytelling where placing the subject in context is important. A Nano USM and Voice Coil Motor deliver exceptional speed and near-silent operation while an f/1.4 aperture gives great depth-of-field control and low light prowess, useful when there’s no time to change lenses or you want to continue shooting or filming in low light. With hybrid video features such as an Iris Ring, minimal focus breathing and smooth focusing alongside SWC, ASC and Super Spectra coating for stunning image quality, this wide-angle prime lens offers one creative solution for both stills and video.

    A 24mm focal length offers a beautifully wide full frame perspective with creativity at its core. Filmmakers will appreciate minimal focus breathing and a separate Iris Ring¹ that delivers smooth manual control. An 11-blade aperture delivers beautiful circular highlights for pro videography with a cinematic look.

  • A brilliant creative performance, even in low light

    Keep on shooting when light levels drop thanks to an f/1.4 aperture for a bright image as well as great depth-of-field control. A rear gel filter holder plus 67mm filter ring at the front gives optimal creative freedom, while the prime lens design renders your subject sharply.

    Enjoy superb image quality thanks to an aspheric element and two UD lenses with Super Spectra, SWC and ASC coatings. A fast Nano USM combined with even faster Voice Coil Motor (VCM²) technology delivers fast and precise focusing for both stills and video.

    Work tough in challenging conditions thanks to an L-series design³ housing high-quality glass elements. A fluorine coating prevents dirt sticking to the front element while a dedicated Lens Control Ring and customisable Lens Function Button bring you personalised control.

    Be more agile when you’re shooting. The RF 24mm F1.4L VCM is around 20 percent lighter than its EF predecessor; and being part of the hybrid prime range, it’s ideal when swapping lenses on your video rig.
